Premise: The sleepy lakeside town of White Stone Lake has been revitalized by an economic development project, to attract new residents and tourists to the area as a summer vacation destination; including a family that has bought a lakefront home, a group of college students renting cabins, new employees of a local restaurant to help with the increase of customers, campers at the local campground, and a pair of home appraisers sent to adjust property values as a result of the improvements. The out-of-towners soon realize why the locals stay close to town after dark.
